To The One Who Never Loved Me

To The one Who Never Loved Me.
To the one who could never leave be.
To the one who with me a future he could never see.
To the one that our story played out like a bad movie plot.
To the one who somehow was there but at the same time was not.
To the one who still leaves my stomach in a knot.
To the one who is a master of the games of the mind.
To the one who is in an instant can be so cruel but then so kind.
To the one who was right in front of me but I still couldn’t find.
To the one who fooled me into thinking love was real.
To the one who coerced me into following what I feel.
To the one who I thought possessed what I needed to heal.
To the one who I forgave time and time again.
To the one who my heart I should've never let in.
To the one who I said is better off as a friend.
To the one who I never wanted to see our story come to an end.
To the one who showed me the depths of the deceit.
To the one who had me playing X Factor on repeat.
To the one who with just a mere kiss could knock me off my feet.
To the one who at the same time brought out my worst and my best.
To the one who made me happiness when were heart to heart and chest to chest.
To the one who then turned and made me the saddest when he treated me like the rest.
To the one who pulled me in close enough to believe.
To the one who I thought my love he was worthy to receive.
To the one who now a future with I cannot conceive.
I tell myself I never loved you and I try to believe it’s true.
I say you never earn it.
I say you never tried.
I say you were not worth not one of the tears that I’ve quietly cried.
I say you were just merely a mistake.
A risk that it would have been better that I did not take.
I pray you find happiness, eventually one day.
To the one who secretly broke my heart and nobody knows.
To the one who that simply that just how the game goes.
I hope you find happiness and I hope you find peace.

But understand I need my heart back, every last piece.
